Growing interest in European Organic Food & Beverage products in Asia


Asian markets are showing growth in interest in organic food & beverage products

Singapore has minimal agriculture resources, and more than 90% of the food consumed domestically is imported from abroad. The market for organic packaged food expanded by 4% in 2016, due to a rising health consciousness among Singaporeans.

The organic food & beverage market is still at an embryonic stage in Vietnam, however, the market is set to grow in the near future, as concerns related to food security, demand for healthier products, and rise of disposable income are predicted to act as important drivers.

In Korea, the trend towards healthier and safer food and beverages has been on-going for a while and is expected to further continue as Korean consumers in general are very health conscious.
