The demand for accessible healthcare is increasing in the ASEAN region, due to high population growth rates and epidemiological trends, indicating higher prevalence of chronic diseases and cardiovascular diseases. Healthcare companies producing medical devices such as prosthetics and diagnostics tools can benefit from increasing demand for medical devices in the ASEAN market.

Healthcare expenditure in Singapore is expected to grow to nearly EUR 37 billion by 2030, and with an ageing population, the country will need innovative assistive medical technologies.
