Japan’s commitment to green energy fosters opportunities for European companies looking to export their innovative products and technologies.
The Japanese government plans to increase the share of renewables, currently at 14%, to take up to 24% of the country’s energy needs by 2030. The country also plans to reduce gas emissions by 26% in 2030, and by 80% in 2050.
European companies specialised in the following domains can still apply for the EU-funded mission to Japan in Green Energy Technologies taking place from 18-22 June 2018:
- Cost-reduction technologies and products related to self-sustaining power generation facilities
- Zero Energy Building Technologies
- Zero Energy House technologies
- High-efficiency lighting
This will be an opportunity for European companies to showcase their products and technologies to a targeted audience of local partners during a 3-day exhibition. The last day of the exhibition will take place within the Grand Renewable Energy 2018 International Conference & Exhibition.
