Over 500 selected European companies will participate to the 11 business missions scheduled in 2017 for the EU Gateway | Business Avenues programme. This EU-funded initiative builds on over 25 years of successful experience, helping European companies to establish long-lasting business collaborations in Asia.
This new round of unique business opportunities includes missions to five new markets (China, Japan, Thailand, Indonesia and the Philippines), and six new sectors (Contemporary European Design, Information & Communication Technologies, Healthcare & Medical Technologies, Clean Technologies, Food Safety Technologies & Services and Railway Technologies &Services).
Business missions are entry tickets to markets with challenging business culture or regulatory constraints. EU Gateway | Business Avenues helps sound out business opportunities in promising markets, minimises the costs typically required to enter a new market, supports companies when making new contacts and strengthening their company network, enables entrepreneurs to discuss challenges and opportunities with industry players and, finally, offers professional coaching and follow-up at all stages.
