How to apply

After filling out the Expression of Interest Form and completing the Application before 22 October 2010, applicants will receive the result of the selection.
Selected participants will need to provide 3 silhouette photos representative of their 2011-2012 collection to the Programme organisers (more details will be given upon selection).
Each participant’s Collection will be presented in a WEAREUROPE 2011 catalog with the photos that they have selected and provided.
Before going to Japan, participants are invited to a full-day pre-departure meeting in Europe and receive detailed market information to prepare them for an active business mission week.

Applicants must be designers of outerwear for men and women, and accessories
(belts, handbags) that complement their outerwear collections
Applicants must have a solid business-structure and have their own designer
Applicants must exist for at least 5 years and have regularly participated in important European fashion events
Applicant must have significant exports and sales experience in other EU countries for at least 5 years
Applicants must have a proven potential and the necessary qualified staff to guarantee continuity of their existing markets while meeting the demands from newly acquired Japanese clients
The following items are excluded from the Programme: Street-wear, jeans, night-wear, underwear, children or baby-wear, pregnancy clothing, sports-wear, bathing gear, wedding dresses, rain clothing, shoes, hats and caps, gloves, socks and stockings.
